Bug #35

Hddtemp Invalid path length

Added by Anonymous over 4 years ago. Updated over 4 years ago.

Target version:-

Ever since adding a couple of extra disks in my server and adding them to hddtemp-config, I get this error:
Invalid path length

Commandline where DomotiGa.gambas is started from states this:
HDDTemp.CheckHDDTemp.45: Invalid path length
0: HDDTemp.CheckHDDTemp.45
1: HDDTemp.tHDDTemp_Timer.35

Disabling the disks in DomotiGa seems to postpone the occurance of this error, but every now and again still shows up. This happens with svn rev 382, 391, 393 still testing.

If more testing is needed, please let me know.

If you enable hddtemp debug in DomotiGa, can you mail me some output strings?
What are the values for HDDTemp host and port?
What is the content of your hddtemp-config?
Which version of Gambas running, and which OS?

Additionally I noticed this with enabling all disks again in rev 393:
ERROR: Cannot broadcast UDP message!(repeated many times)
HDDTemp: The system does not allow to create a socket.

Debug wasn't on yet, enabling it produses:
2010/08/06 21:24:45 [HDDTemp] Connected to socket localhost:7634

Values for HDDTemp host and port: localhost and 7634 default.
Gambas version: revision 2815 which is in 2.20(will update if it might help)
OS Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS

As far as I can tell the error doesn't happen anymore with the latest releases, it can be closed now.
